2 The Age of Exploration  The age of exploration began as Europeans searched for a quicker & easier trade route to Asia.  Curiosity, advanced technology, & high demand for silks & spices from Asia caused the age of exploration.  Spain was the first country to successfully reach the America’s as they PAID FOR Christopher Columbus FIRST (MAIDEN) voyage.
