PITA  was founded in early 1999  membership-based organisation for locally registered companies in the ICT sector  represents 75 enterprises (total of 90% of the sector out-put) from various sub- sectors including hardware distributors, software development firms, office automation vendors, Internet service providers, telecommunications, IT consulting, IT training and related businesses

Palestine …. Now  International IT Companies  Growing Wealth of Skilled HR  Palestinian Diaspora Tapping Home  Total Digital Telecom Network  IT High Rate of Growth  Solid Government Commitment  Opening up to Regional & Intl Markets (Arab, US, EU)

Purpose  To represent the collective interest of the private IT sector in Palestine

Vision PITA to be recognized as the leader in positioning the IT sector as the economic pillar

Mission  To promote and defend IT private sector through:  Advocating business enabling policies, mechanisms and environment through public-private partnership  Promoting the Palestinian IT sector locally and internationally through facilitating access to markets for the benefit of the PITA members  Engaging the technical and non-technical IT human resources and human resources related institutions in-order to expand qualified pool of which uphold the level of professional standard
