Presentation transcript:

DAMPE has successfully completed 3 weeks of test beam campaign – 2 weeks in the PS T9, 1 week in SPS H4 – ~60 people participated in the setup and data taking, many of Chinese colleagues came to CERN for the first time! – A large amount of data taken with 0.5 GeV to 400 GeV particles Electron, pion, muon, photon, proton Energy scan, position scan, angle scan, MIP calibration, … 1

2 Energy linearity measured with electrons of 0.5 to 250 GeV from PS and SPS

3 Brem Photon from 20 GeV electron on SPS

The great efficiency and “user-friendliness” of all the CERN services never stop to amaze us! – From USERS office, registration services, transport service, to machine department, CCC, SBA, safety service, Radio Protection … Everyone goes out of their way to help us, even if we don’t always follow the instructions! Please forward our gratitude to the CERN management – We are very grateful to our “regular” contacts Henric Wilkens, Michael Jeckel, Lau Gartignon, Adrian Fabich, Ilias Efthymiopoulos, Bruno Picjler, Remi Godry, Stephanie Krattinger, … – Special thanks to the technical support teams in B157 and EHN1 – We will be back next March for the Ar run to calibrate the detector response to ions – Request has been submitted for 2015 proton runs More protons for e/p separation studies More electron and photons for follow up studies 4 A big Thanks to everyone …
