Philippians 3:13-14

“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13–14 (ESV)

1. Don’t become DISTRACTED Philippians 3:13 (ESV) – “But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.”

Psalm 19:7–9 (ESV) – “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 8 the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9 the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether.”

1.It is TRUTH “The law of the Lord is perfect.” “The testimony of the Lord is sure.” “The precepts of the Lord are right.” “The commandment of the Lord is pure.” “The fear of the Lord is clean.” “The rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether.”

2. It is LIFE It is “reviving the soul.” It is “making wise the simple.” It brings “rejoicing the heart.” It is “enlightening the eyes.”
