3 3 Introduction Alma supports two types of resource sharing: (Standard) Resource Sharing does not require any collaborative or consortial framework. Fulfillment Network requires that a collaborative framework is defined/configured in Alma (but does not require a Network Institution) These two types are independent of each other. You can use one or the other or both

9 9 The Walk-In Scenario When performing the loan at the host institution it is possible to search for patrons from other institutions in the same network

10 10 After clicking “Find in other institution” the staff user can choose a specific institution and enter the ID and click “find User” The Walk-In Scenario
