2. Word Final Project This project is worth 50 points and constitutes a large portion of your grade The project is due by the end of class on Friday November 30th. You will have class time to do the Word portion but you should do your design and write the text portions at home.

3. Word Final Project You will design a travel brochure. A brochure is a 2-sided piece of paper folded in thirds.

5. Word Final Project Your brochure must contain the following: 1. At least 2 pictures 2. At least 1 clip art drawing 3. At least 1 table Your table must have either a row or column where some cells are merged. 4. At least 2 text boxes (from the drawing menu) with text in them

6. Word Final Project 5. Paragraphs – describing the location, the attractions, etc. 6. Section headings to divide up the document (i.e. use the style dropdown to select Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.) 7. At least 3 Fonts – and 2 Font styles (Bold, Italics, Underlined)

8. Word Final Project How to start: The easiest way to start is to use a template. Find a Brochure template. Look at the layout on slide 2 and design a Front Cover and Inside Flap. The Front Cover should be a title and maybe a picture and very little text. The Inside Flap should make us want to go there. The Inside Left/Center/Right have the details of the location. Your name, period and the date must be included on the “Back” (the middle part of page 1)
