The natural diet of the horse is grass. Grass contains most of the nutrition a horse requires to be healthy. It also contains silica, which is important for dental health. Horses need hay.

The natural habitat of the horse is grassland and open forest. Horses originally evolved in sparsely vegetated habitats where other large plant-eaters could not survive.

A horse is a large mammal with a soft body. It is very good at jumping and is very friendly with humans.

Horses have near 360 degree vision. They do however have blind spots directly in front and behind them. It is extremely dangerous to stand behind a horse as they are liable to kick out if they get scared by anything as kicking out is their way of defending themselves
