3 Training for welders, Training ranges from a few weeks of school or on-the- job training for low-skilled positions to several years of combined school and on-the-job training for highly skilled jobs. Welding education requirements vary by employer. Some employers require welders to have a high school diploma and require completion of employer-based welding tests. Other employers look for a certificate or undergraduate degree from a technical school, vocational school or community college. Welders may also learn techniques through welding apprenticeships. 5 Welder future earning like every year be like $50.000 a year or even more. Welders stating salary will be nice especially when they fresh out of high school they start them off with $10, $12 or $14 and hour. But in the military you might make even more like up to $80.000 Starting Salary and Future Earnings

8 Personality traits best suited to a welder are, patience, calmness, observance of detail, ability to stay in one / or many positions for some time. While these are some of the qualities most helpful to be a welder, this is only an over view. There are other things to consider, if caffeine makes you even the slightest bit "jittery" IE a bit shaky or if your hands aren't so steady, this could affect your welding ability, and the outcome of your weld.
