Many twist Bible passages, and try to force bible verses to say what they don’t actually say. Many are forcing the Bible to fit into their beliefs, and are also changing Jesus’s will by altering what we cannot alter. Once the will has been sealed, no one can touch it! Jesus has already prescribed, and said how men ought to be saved, and we have no authority to touch that!

1 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self- control. 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15. 1 Corinthians 7:7-8 7 For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. 8 But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am;

1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15. the role of men and women in the church The context of the passage concerns the role of men and women in the church; specifically in verses 9- 14. The role of women in the church is addressed and the explanation of it is taken back to the beginning. 1 Timothy 2:9-14 9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15. Generally speaking, verse 15 paints a picture of hope for woman who was foremost responsible for the introduction of sin into the world. 1 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV) 15 Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self- control.

1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15. While there were punishments (ex: “In pain you shall bring forth children”), she can still be saved. While the exact meaning of the passage is difficult, it must not contradict the clear teachings of the Bible in other passages. We must harmonized the Bible, and not contradict the Bible with Bible!

What this passage is NOT teaching: That any woman is saved from sins by merely becoming a mother. There are God-given, universal conditions for salvation (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38), and this is not one of them. 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15.

What this passage is NOT teaching: That a woman must bear children to be saved. Such would remove salvation from a personal choice, to a test and requirement of marriage-ability and fertility. And then the question comes: How about those women who can’t have babies, will they be condemned? 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15.

What this passage is not teaching: That a woman will be saved from tragedy and death during the act of bearing children. Because of the so much suffering delivering that baby, she now will inherit eternal life, according to Paul, says many! 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15.

Possible meanings of this passage: While woman introduced sin into the world, God chose woman to be the means by which the Savior entered the world to save mankind (Gen. 3:15; Gal. 4:4). All women can be saved because of the role Mary played, if they will obey & “continue in the faith.” 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15. Genesis 3:15 15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel." Galatians 4:4 4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

Possible meanings of this passage: Possible meanings of this passage: In the context, time is spent on the role of women—not exercising authority over the man (v. 12), as Eve did when she took the lead in eating the forbidden fruit (v. 14). 1 Timothy 2:12 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 1 Timothy 2:14 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15.

Possible meanings of this passage: Nevertheless, if she will fulfill the role that God has designed for her, as a woman, to have in the divine plan for the home and the church, she can be saved. (“Childbearing” here is used as a synecdoche—a part for the whole.) even though she introduced sin into the world If she will fulfill her role AND “continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control,” she can be saved (even though she introduced sin into the world). 1 Timothy 2:15 seems to imply that women must marry and have children to be saved. However, that would contradict 1 Corinthians 7:7-8. Please explain 1 Timothy 2:15.

Mark 16:16  He who believes and is baptized… Acts 2:38  Repent and let everyone of you… Romans 6:3-6  buried with Him in baptism!! Acts 22:16  Now why are you waiting?  Jesus saved many in the beginning, and taught what do and what to say.  BUT, He never mentioned anything about being pregnant (or not), in order to go to heaven!
