3 Algebra: variables, values, operations In Boolean algebra, the values are the symbols 0 and 1 If a logic statement is false, it has value 0 If a logic statement is true, it has value 1 Operations: AND, OR, NOT Boolean Algebra and Logical Operators

4 Logic Gates A computer carries out all operations internally by means of combination of signals passing through standard blocks of built in circuits known as logic gates. A Logic Gate is an electronic circuit that operates on one or more input signals to produce standard output signals.
