2. “A Poison Tree” by William Blake I liked this poem because this kid in the poem talks about the relationship he has with the tree. He sometimes will be happy with the tree, and other times he may be sad, mad, or angry. The poem is different from the others because the kid gets to share his life with the tree. He gets to have something to play with.

3. “Name of a Tree” by Catherine Anderson I like this poem for many reasons. One of the reasons I like this poems is because the tree is telling the story. For the first time you actually get to hear the tree talk about it’s owner. Another reason this poem is better than the others is the fact that the tree is perfectly describing the environment it lives in.

4. “Under the Greenwood Tree” by William Shakespeare I like this poem because of the way the author describes the environment around the tree. He would talk about the tree being protected by everything except harsh and cold winter. I also like this poem for the way he describes the tree being happy and thankful for what he gets.
