1. Remove 4 Phillips screws that hold tape drive cover (2 on each side) Phillips screws

2. Lift off tape drive cover

3. Turn mech 180 degrees so SCSI connector is facing you SCSI connector

4. 2 very small Phillips screws hold the (green) head cleaner in place screws Green head cleaner

5. Remove these 2 screws screws

6. Slide cleaning brush assembly back and down behind white ribbon cable Brush assembly Ribbon cable

7. Servo motor is held in place by a small screw to the left of the motor, remove it Servo motor Retaining screw

8. Servo motor can be moved to the side slightly to disengage worm gear Servo motor Move

10. Tape can now be removed from drive. Re-assemble in reverse order. Ejected cartridge
