Standardisation Activity Is the evidence: Valid – is the evidence relevant to the assessment criteria and learning outcomes, at the required standard, adequate to confirm competence Authentic – is the evidence genuine, is it the candidates own work? Reliable – are the assessors achieving a consistent approach to the way they make judgements about candidate evidence? Current – is the evidence up to date, does it reflect the learners practice at the present time? Sufficient – is there enough evidence to show the assessment criteria and learning outcomes have been met competently and at the required level?
