6 AAG Internship Program Overview 6 Internship Role & Responsibilities: Prepare advisor for client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, entering data into Contact Manager, creating the agenda and summary of meetings, escorting clients to advisor Prepare and ensure new business paperwork processes successfully, help obtain appropriate signatures, prepare documentation to send to home office. Schedule client or wholesaler appointments, enter client data into various applications, maintenance of plan tracker, assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client meetings and correspondence, printing and distributing of reports. May assist advisors in conducting investment research. Prepare for and coordinate some key marketing and seminar events. Shadowing of different advisor practices. May be some general administrative duties performed for entire office to include: distributing and tracking correspondence, answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients and prospects in the reception area. 7 AAG Internship Qualifications Required Qualifications: Junior status with Financial Planning, Finance concentration GPA of 3.3 or above High level of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics Ability to influence and strong relationship management skills Demonstrated leadership focus with ability to drive results Creative, strategic, and flexible skill sets Interested in gaining broad experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient with standard office equipment. Able to maintain confidentiality. Planning, analytical and organization ability Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent client service skills & professionalism Preferred Qualifications: College student in good standing at an accredited financial planning program designated academic institution - Junior status Familiarity with financial concepts preferred Previous employment history preferred For internal use only.
