2 What is the Title I/LAP Program? The Title I Reading/Language Arts/Math program is designed to give extra support in one or more subjects to students who may need additional time and instruction to attain the necessary skill levels in reading and/or math to be successful in school and to meet our state’s “common core” standards currently assessed with the Washington State MSP. In grades 2-8, the LAP math program provides funding to help students who have not passed (Levels 2 or 1) of the WAMSP. Further evaluations will determine which “areas of concern” will be outlined as your students’ “targeted” learning goals for each trimester. Your student will be given direct instruction with the adopted enVision Focus program.
