2. Qualifications Age: Must be at least 25 Residency: Must live in the state where they were elected Citizenship: Must have been a citizen for at least 7 years

3.  Elections: held every two years  Responsilities : - Impose and collect taxes and duties - Borrow money - Regulate commerce with foreign nations and among the states - Coin money - Establish post office - Declare war - Raise and support and army and a navy

4.  Qualifications -Age: must be at least 30 years old -Residency: must live in the state you are chosen to represent -Citizenship: must be a United State citizens for at least 9 years

5.  Elections: held every six years  Two Senate from each state  Responsibilities -Choose their officers -Have the sole power to try all impeachments -When the president of the United State is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside

7.  Consists of the President and Vice-President  Qualifications: -Age: must be at least 35 years old -Residency: must live in the United States for at least 14 years -Citizenship: must be a natural-born citizen

8.  Elections: Every four years  Responsibilities: -Carry and enforce laws made by congress -Make treaties with other nation -Appoint certain government officials -Act as commander-in-chief of the armed forces -Veto laws passed by Congress

9.  Supreme Court  Needed to decide disputes between state government and between citizen of two or more states  Also needed for disputes between the national government and a state or citizen.  Appointed by the President for life or until they retire  Two types of jurisdiction: original jurisdiction and appellate jurisdiction

11.  No person shall be forced to answer for a capital or otherwise infamous crime unless on an indictment of a Grand Jury.  No person shall be tried for the same crime twice  No person shall be denied of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.  Property cannot be taken away from a person without compensation.

12.  Defines citizenship.  No state shall make laws that deprives a person of life, liberty. Or property, without due process of law.  Nor shall they deny any person within its jurisdiction equal protection of the laws.
