4 That marriage you walked away from out of selfishness That word spoken that damaged a life-long friendship An abortion that haunts you with guilt until this day That child you neglected to properly raise because you were too busy

5 How do we let go of our past in order to be effective in our present and future?

6 Confront our past offenses When he came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples… Acts 9:26a

7 Confront our past offenses "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift. Matthew 5:23-24

8 Own our past offenses For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. Galatians 1:13
