Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

27 So what does this mean for me? … Have I given my life to the Lord? … Without that, there is no lasting peace. Matthew 5:9 – Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. If we are sons or daughters of the Most High, then we are heirs of His power and authority to bring peace.

I commit my life to bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation to family, friends, and strangers who do not know the Lord Jesus. Have I made financial restitution if I have defrauded anyone? How can I restore my broken marriage? How can I once again be part of my children or grand-children’s lives?

29 So what does this mean for me? … Have I given my life to the Lord? … Without that, there is no lasting peace. Matthew 5:9 – Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. If we are sons or daughters of the Most High, then we are heirs of His power and authority to bring peace. Have I committed my life to be an Ambassador for Christ?
