2 Mat 6:9 …Thy Kingdom Come! Who will be in that Kingdom?
How can we prepare to enter it? Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

3 Repent, and believe in the gospel."
Mark 1:14-15 Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

4 Repentance Matt 4:17 …Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 3:1 John the Baptist came… saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!’

5 Repentance Have you repented? How do you know?

6 Repentance 2 Corinthians 13:5: “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” (NIV)

7 Repentance Jeremiah 17:9 ““The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”

8 Repentance Romans 3: 10 There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 …There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; There is none who does good, no, not one. 17 And the way of peace they have not known. 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Repent means change 1 Repent Gr. = to change one’s mind Change the way we think Be Converted Gr. = to turn Change direction Change course Go another direction Acts 3:19 “Repent … and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out”

13 Repent of being a sinner 2
Rom 7:21 (NCV) So I have learned this rule: When I want to do good, evil is there with me. 22 In my mind, I am happy with God's law. 23 But I see another law working in my body, which makes war against the law that my mind accepts. That other law working in my body is the law of sin, and it makes me its prisoner. :24 What a miserable man I am! Who will save me from this body that brings me death? 25 I thank God for saving me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So in my mind I am a slave to God's law, but in my sinful self I am a slave to the law of sin.

14 Not just sorrow or remorse 3
2 Corinthians 7:10: “For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death” (NLT)

15 Is change of mind and life 4
Mark 12:33 (TEV) “…man must love God with all his heart and with all his mind and with all his strength; and he must love his neighbor as he loves himself. “ 34 Jesus noticed how wise his answer was, and so he told him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God."

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Luke 14:26 If anyone comes to me but loves his father, mother, wife, children, brothers, or sisters—or even life—more than me, he cannot be my follower (NCV). :33 In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple” (NIV). Luke 18:18: “Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?’

21 What should you do? Acts 2:36 "So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!“ 37 Peter's words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, "Brothers, what should we do? “ (NLT)
