3 Just a note… The following are parameters. You may choose to be more strict, however parents MUST know and it MUST be across the board on your grade.

4 A Behavior Rubric A behavior rubric has been designed and is to be sent home to parents. It will also be on the webpage. This will go home with every report card.

7 Late Assignments Parent Contact is to be made on the FIRST day of a late assignment. 1% per day may be deducted from the grade for each day it is late. Assignments must be received within the nine weeks it was assigned. If not turned in, it becomes an I for incomplete. If a grade level project is assignment, the WHOLE grade level must decide on the assignment requirements.

9 EXTRA CREDIT Extra credit/bonus points can only be given IF it is tied to a benchmark!

11 Cheating No zero for cheating! You must give an alternate assignment. You may give a consequence and MUST contact parent.

13 Attendance Attendance is not to be a part of ANY grade!

15 Forgotten Name!!! Forgetting your name on your paper can only have a maximum deduction of 3 percentage points per assignment. No bonus points given if name is on paper.

17 All grades will be an average.

19 Nifty Fifty 50’s will be given at the END of the nine weeks for any F grades. This includes ESE and ELL students. If the assignment was never turned in the grade will be an I for incomplete.

21 Homework and Participation Homework is not to be graded to include participation.
