informal tone-friendly, chatty and relaxed as though you're talking to the person. sign off with phrases such as: Best Wishes, Love, Yours truly, Lots of love etc.

8 Formal Letter Your address and date in top right corner
Name, position and address of the person you are writing to on the left. Greeting e.g Dear Sir/Madam Reason for Writing Avoid slang, misspellings, or inappropriate humour.

9 How to Sign off Use 'Yours sincerely' if you know the person's name.
Use 'Yours faithfully' if you don't know the persons name.
