Summary Action: PC Backup & Restore Steps Step 1: – Launch system if not already launched. – Select  Admin. – Note: If someone is already logged in, you need to log them out & log back in as Admin. Step 2: – Password – contact Joe Buffa (joseph.buffa@jci.com) to get the password.joseph.buffa@jci.com Step 3: – Admin screen comes up. – Select Admin. – Note if someone is already logged in, you need to log them out & log back in as Admin. Step 4: – Admin screen comes up. – Select “Manage” on the Menu. – Select “Backup Database” on Sub-Menu. Step 5: – You will want to select Root Directory Folder, SQL Express Requirement. – Note: If you do not use Root Directory, it will give you a SQL error. Step 6: – SQL automatically defines the Backup File Name with date & time. Step 7: – Leave a copy on the PC in the Temp Directory, & save a copy to a another server/PC. CRIB ATTENDANT SHOULD DO DAILY & SAVE ON PC. IT MANAGER SHOULD DO WEEKLY & STORE OFF-LINE. Step 8: – Backup Picture Folders 1/week minimum.
