3 3 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Vessel File: A ship must be created in the vessel file before a booking can be made. Administrative and technical information about ships are recorded in the vessel file. If the vessel exists in Lloyd’s Register, technical data can be transferred automatically from Lloyd’s Register to the vessel file.

4 4 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Call Booking System: A “number” is assigned to each call booking. Administrative and technical data about the call as well as information about dangerous goods are recorded in advance in the booking file.

5 5 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Expected Arrivals: At any moment, users can display the list of ships expected. Several reports can also be printed, including the 14 days list and the list of expected ships.

6 6 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Berth Planning: A full graphic system is provided to manage berth reservations. Reports for confirmed reservations can be printed on request.

7 7 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Tracking Ship Movements and Services Rendered to Ships: Marine services provided during the movement of a ship are recorded. When a ship enters the port a call number is assigned. This number facilitates the monitoring of all subsequent call data. All ship movements are recorded in an electronic register.

8 8 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Call Report: The Call Report summarises all services provided during the call, including berth occupation, marine services and miscellaneous services. This report facilitates the invoicing.

9 9 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Statistics: PORTLOGIC ON-LINE includes a complete set of statistical reports and powerful tools for analysis.

10 10 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Security Features: User must identify himself before starting PORTLOGIC ON-LINE User is allowed to access PORTLOGIC ON-LINE but the interface is adapted to his profile The system checks that the user is authorised to use PORTLOGIC ON-LINE and retrieves his profile from security database Security Database Examples of user profiles: Harbour Master Manager (all operations are allowed) Harbour Master View (not allowed to enter or update data) Maintenance of codification tables

11 11 PORTLOGIC ON-LINE Harbour Master Module Codification: Numerous codes are used within the system. To facilitate maintenance of these codifications, international codes have been implemented whenever possible. With the proper profile, Users have access to all code tables and are able to update these tables.
