How is Edward developed as a character? What conflict is being set up? How has the director established a connection between Edward and Kim? How is the neighborhood portrayed?

See page 152. In Edward Scissorhands, Tim Burton uses __[technique]_____ to ___[effect/achieve what purpose]___. An example of this is when ____[specific example and explanation of effect from film]___. Tim Burton, in Edward Scissorhands, uses a long shot (cinematic technique) to show the vulnerability of characters (effect/achieve what purpose). For example, when Peg is upstairs in the castle, the long shot makes her look small so that the viewer worries about her safety (film evidence). Share statements in your group.
