2. Practical sessions are meant FOR LEARNING There are 6 Practical sessions It is compulsory to ATTEND & COMPLETE at least 4 Practical sessions All activities are self-correcting The instructions for the activities can be found at personales.upv.es/ajaime ACCESS TO ACTIVITIES: EQUIPO-> P -> TE

3. PRACTICAL SESSIONS activities include: Links to Internet websites (General English) Multimedia activities: EQUIPO -> P -> TE -Grammar & Vocabulary activities -Listening Comprehension: Authentic Videos Oral practice Control tests: videos & Grammar/voc

4. PRACTICAL SESSION CONTROLS It is compulsory to ATTEND & COMPLETE at least 4 Practical sessions, i.e. Doing the ORAL practice Answering VIDEO QUESTIONS (on paper) Taking the CONTROL TEST at the end of the sessions (PoliformaT -> examenes) PRACTICAL SESSIONS will ONLY be COMPLETE if you have OK in the VIDEO & CONTROL TEST & you have done the ORAL practice

ASSESSMENT OF THE COURSE CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT a) EXAM SECTION I = UNITS 1-5 : 25 points = 5 APRIL b) EXAM SECTION II= UNITS 6-10: 35 points = 1 JUNE –Multiple choice –Fill in the gaps –Correct the mistakes –Reading Comprehension –Composition (ONLY IN EXAM SECTION II) –Video Test c) ESSAYS: 10 points d) ORAL INTERVIEW: 20 points e) Regular attendance + Extra Practical Sessions = 10 points a minimum of 35% in each part ATTENDANCE and COMPLETION of at least 4 practical sessions
