7. Asl 3- Advanced ASL word order: Yes, basic order is TIME OBJECT SUBJECT VERB But, have you noticed several sentences from ASL signers may be in SVO order? If a sentence has a rhetorical question at the beginning, it may look like SVO (but note that eyebrows must be raised) Example: ________rh_ ME WHAT-DO STORE GO (signer can even omit WHAT-DO) or even : GO STORE sometimes- but not often
