3 THEMESSAGE Our symposium focuses on the ESSENTIAL QUESTION: Our symposium focuses on the ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What is the message (theme) resulting from this project and how might this message contribute to society? 4 What do I need to do? You will choose what interests you and make sure that the subject crosses into other subjects you know. 6 What do I need to do first ? First you need to fill out an intent to participate form. Choose your partners, or choose to work by yourself. Choose your mentor teachers. Next, choose your topic. Think about the BIG IDEA you want to show about your topic. Then, think about what other subjects your topic can connect with. Finally, have your first meeting with your mentor. They will help steer you in the right direction as you discuss your ideas with them.
