10. Send a Cow is a charity that works in 7 countries in Africa. They strive to give communities and families the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land. Often people who have lived on less than £1 a day for years do not believe their lives can change. Send a Cow works closely with these people, giving them hope so that they can succeed.

12. What do they do? Working hand in hand with poor farming families in Africa, they equip people with the knowledge, skills and importantly self-belief to transform their own lives. They provide livestock and training in sustainable farming practices alongside courses in gender equality, conflict resolution and more. Not only does it work, but families pass on the package to others.
