7 The Gospel Message: The fulfillment of the hope of Israel “That Christ should suffer, and…rise from the dead” (vs. 23, 8) To turn men from darkness to light (v. 18) To turn them from the power of Satan (v. 18) To give them remission of sins and an inheritance among the sanctified (v. 18) That men should repent, and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance (v. 20) That this message is for both Jew and Gentile (vs. 17, 20)
