3. The Law Foretold of Christ and the Gospel The story of the coming Redeemer and God’s redemption is the theme of the Old Testament. (Gen. 3:15; Gen. 12:3; Gal. 3:8, 28; 2 Sam. 7:12- 13; etc.) The Old Testament indicates that through Jesus a new covenant would come. 6. Jesus Fulfilled Prophecy Jesus was born of a virgin (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:23) Jesus was born in Bethlehem (Mic. 5:2) Jesus was a prophet like Moses (Deut. 18:15 ff.)
