5. The Globe Theatre
In 1598 Shakespeare and his actors had a disagreement with the landowner of their theatre in the North of London. So they took the theatre part by part and brought them through the river Thames to settle in the South which was cheaper, a new Theatre called The Globe. But today the theatre has disappeared, only the foundations of the original Globe remain. The Globe opened in Shakespeare was earning quite a bit of money so his creativity flourished. During the 7 first years of the Theatre, he produced his most famous plays such as Hamlet, Othello or Macbeth. He was working very hard. He died in There is a re-creation of Shakespeare Globe down the street of the former one, built in the mid-1990’s. Some things of Shakespeare are kept alive.
