4. Important Information about Patrick Henry ABOUT PATRICK HENRY  Patrick Henry was born in 1736 and died in the year of 1799, so he lived for 63 years. Patrick Henry birth date was on May 29, 1736. He was born in Hanover Country, Virginia. Patrick Henry death date was on June 6, 1799.He passed away in an area called Red Hill Plantation, Virgina. He has served in the House of Burgesses and in the Continentall Congress. He was also a five-term governer of Virginia. He was famous for his speech which was, "Give me liberty, or give me death". Patrick Henry speech meant that he wanted FREEDOM. PATRICK HENRY'S LIFE  Patrick Henry was a - lawyer, patriot, orator, and willing participant. He has been married twice with Sarah Shelton and Dorothea Dandridge.Patrick Henry was educated at home with John Henry and taught him to read Latin, but Patrick H. studied/taught him self lawshcool. In May 30, 1765, Henry told his idea to the point of treason defending his resolutions against the Stamp Act of the/in House of Burgesses.
