3 INTRODUCTION  An activity was conducted named Khana-Khazana (Food-Fiesta) for Stds 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th. We had to make cuisine by ‘Cooking without fire’, where we had to make salads from countries - Thailand, Italy and India.  Experts were called to judge our cuisines.  Total 42 students participated in the event.

7 RECIPE ;- THAI RICE NOODLE SALAD 1.100 gms boiled rice noodles 2. 1 medium cucumber peeled & cut in to strips 3.1 tbsp cabbage pieces 4.3/4 tbsp resh coriander leaves 5.1 medium carrot peeled &cut in to strips 6.1 tbsp peanuts crushed 7. 1 tbsp lime juice 8.2 tbsp chilli sauce 9.Mix vegetable and noodle with wet dressing 10.Ready - to -serve in cabbage cups - BY MAHI BAID

8 Italian Bread Salad with Strawberries and Tomatoes 1.1 loaf Italian bread, cut into 1-inch cubes 2. 2 tablespoons olive oil 3. 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 4. 1/2 teaspoon salt 5. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 6. 1 pint fresh strawberries, diced 7. 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and diced 8. 2 ounces crumbled feta cheese 9. 3 tablespoons red onion, diced 10. 1/4 cup olive oil 11. 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 12. 2 tablespoons honey 13.Mix all together for a really great taste BY-ABDULGAWAD ABID,

9 Panzanella Salad 1.4 plum (roma) tomatoes, seeded and cubed 2. 1 cucumber, peeled and diced 3. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced 4. 1/2 cup cubed fontina cheese 5. 1/2 cup pitted and chopped kalamata olives 6. 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh basil 7. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 8. 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 9. 1/2 teaspoon salt 10. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 11. 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 12. 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 13. 1 pound loaf day-old Italian bread, cubed 14.Mix it all together for an awesome dinner or a side dish for lunch S BY-ABDULGAWAD ABID,

Detoxifies the body.It is used a lot in Italian salads Whole grains, such as whole-wheat bread, oats, and brown rice, used in Italian salads are good for health.
