2 The Renaissance Man or Woman People of the Renaissance wanted to be known as supporters of all aspects of the arts: Paintings, Sculptures, Poetry, and other Literature A Renaissance Man was someone who was well educated and excelled in many fields of study in the Arts – A Universal Man A Renaissance Woman should be educated but wasn’t expected to create anything
