3 Answer Singular subjects should be accompanied by singular verbs and plural subjects should be accompanied by plural verbs.

4 Explain The boy sings well. -The subject is who or what the sentence is about. The subject of this sentence is “The boy”. -The verb is what the subject does. The verb in this sentence is “sings”. Note: Singular verbs tend to end in “S”.
