2 What is mechanical engineering? A branch of engineering concerned primarily with the industrial application of mechanics and with the production of tools, machinery, and their products.

3 I already know That mechanical engineering has to do with math and science That they get paid a lot of money That mechanical engineers have to go to college

4 What I want to know? How many mechanical engineers will be needed in Alaska by 2016? What do mechanical engineers do at work? Do mechanical engineers get to work on automobiles? At what time do they work? Which days of the week do they work on? How many hours do they work each week?

5 Feelings I’m exited about going to college to learn about mechanical engineering. I’m scared that mechanical engineering will be boring. I’m worried about how I will pay for college.

12 Thoughts I still like mechanical engineering I can’t wait for college I’m really excited about working with a team of engineers. This career is very interesting because you get to create and improve different inventions!
