6 6 New Transition Improvement Plan (TIP) Website Individual educators and school teams may have completed a Transition Improvement Plan (TIP) on the Transition Improvement Grant (TIG) website in the past two years. This new website is a revised tool, still part of TIG and based on the National Predictors of Post School Success. Changes: New URL: www.witip.orgwww.witip.org Much shorter and easier rating (116 items to 34 items). Provides teams an opportunity to spend less time rating more time planning. 14 14 Types of Users TIP Team Assess the Predictors as they relate to the transition programming and services provided to students with disabilities in your district, school or in other setting, such as the county. Youth, families and adult services agency Participate as part of a school TIP team. Choose the type of team for which you will use the tools in this particular plan: 1.District – complete tools with all district transition-age students with disabilities in mind. 2.School/Building - complete tools with these students in mind. 3.Other – can be any type of team, including a county team (e.g. CCoT), charter school, etc. 2.Name your team – include enough information to easily identify this team; include a date since you may have multiple teams. 3.Click “Add this team”. Build one or more teams – improve outcomes through team planning

Invitees will receive an email invitation from the TIP website to participate on your team; check spam if not received. When a member accepts, this new team will be added to their existing TIP account or a new account will be created in their “My Toolbox”. You will be marked as the “Leader”. Select “Core” for those members who regularly participate and “Extended” for those who participate occasionally. Edit or delete team members as desired.

Select District, School/Building, or Other Team completing THIS plan. If you are completing this plan as an Individual Educator, you will name your plan here. Team members will be listed in an auto-filled table and become part of your reports.

All of your existing plans will be shown here, under “My Plans”. Plan information includes the name of the plan and the date it was last edited or saved. Manage your plans: Click “Edit” to continue working on an existing Plan. “View PDF” to view or print an existing plan (all of the tools in that plan). “Delete” to delete plans you no longer need; these will be deleted from your plans but can be retrieved if needed by contacting Mary Kampa (send a request using the “Contact Us” email link)
