Technical and administrative Overviews EVA European Team (FR ccipa/ira BE technifutur UK university of Cranfield BG university of Rousse) Is working since October 2009 For setting up EVA competence certification system targeted for operating and maintenance staff working in the scope of control process implemented in European industrial production activity sites Budget allocated by Leonardo European Program is 418 925 Euros for operating until September 2011

3. What is EVA Certification System ? It is made up with 3 components : -Control Process Job Specifications established in partnership with industrials in order to adapt industrials requirements and competences offers -EVA Certification Organization established with regards to ISO international norms and rules -EVA Certification Platform accessible in distance way for evaluating practical competences and transferring competences

4. Setting up job spécifications EVA European Team with its industrial networks in relevance with transnational certification norm and rules has set up : -Control process Job specification witch will the be root of the EVA specification system -Industrial Measurement Competence Sheet for process operator and technical maintenance agent - Industrial Control Competence sheet for process operator and technical maintenance agent -The 2 Competence sheets are a significant sample of the Job Specification targeted which have been experimented and will be still experimented until the end of project -In the 2 Competence sheets, Energy Saving, Pollution Reducing, Sustained Developing are taken in account

5. Setting up EVA Certification Organisation EVA European Team in relevance with transnational certification norm and rules (CEI 17024) has set up : -EVA EUROPEAN CERTIFICATION SYSTEM specification document -The document describe all the procedures and documents associated to the process from the moment of certification application worker until the moment of Competence Certificate delivery -Traceability and 3 years Validity management are defined -Function of Independent Award Committee for delivering Competence Certificate is defined -Opinions and Advises about EVA Certification Organisation have been got during experimentation

6. Setting up EVA Certification Platform EVA European Team, in relevance with ELVIRE platform transferring and adapting Process simulation improving and adding (for transferring toward more industrial area) has set up: -EVA Certification platform witch is: an experimentation laboratory of the Competence Evaluation tool of the EVA Certification System an experimentation laboratory of the Competence Transfer tool used for instance in case of certification failure -Content of the platform is accessible in distance way via Internet allowing competence evaluation: anywhere without heavy industrial equipment transporting with wrong working process situation easy to set up industrial immersion sensation very close to reality - Experimentation of the use of the platform has been already done with industrials and will be still done until the end of the project

7. Experimentation of EVA Certification System - EVA European Team is experimenting EVA Certification system since January 2010 with Industrial partners belonging to European multinational plants and SMI belonging to the industrial networks of each member of the team -More than 200 Industrials (workers, technical responsible, training responsible) have participated to the experimentation for criticizing improving and validating EVA Certification System - Coming back of experimentation is globally very good - In 80 % of cases here are the average questions asked to the experimentation managers in each country partners when can we use this tool for certification and training ? how to operate for accessing to the platform in the after project ? how much it will cost ? what will be other added competences? - Results of experimentation shows the pertinence of the proposed system, the interest for potential users, and give motivation to EVA European Team for perfecting the EVA Certification System - About Commercialisation for the after project, Contacts have been taken and will be taken with potential industrial users
