For many years HCL has sold unit dose packaging materials but needed a method of getting the text and now bar codes onto labels. In 2004 when the bar code rule from the FDA began being tossed around Wasp quickly became a tool for the pharmacy to print bar codes on their labels. Another innovative labeling solution that can be used with the Wasp Labeler program is our Clear Flag & Receipt Labels. These labels attach with a clear strip to any vial, oral dispenser, or syringe. The clear adhesive tail does not impede manufacturer or packaging markings. Simply tear off the receipt and attach to a patient chart or fold the label for an easy to read double-sided label. These labels solve the problem of getting bar codes on ampules, small vials, syringes and other hard to label surfaces.
