3 Introduction Black death was one of the most devastating plagues on history. Black Death is a bacteria called Yersinia Pestis. Some symptoms the victim suffers are extreme headache, Some big blister on the armpits, and also on the neck, with loots of pus. The sickness kill 1/3 of the population of Europe approximated 25 million people, only in three years.

4 What is Black Death? The victim died because his immune system wasn't available to destroy the bacteria. The Black Death kill the victim with pain. The Black Death came from Asia, by rats to the city of Constantinople. Then it spread the rats spread on boats the rats had fleas, that fleas bit the humans and they pass you the black death. Also the dirty environment of Europe help the rats and fleas spread more fast. The pandemic is called black death because when it kills your skin turns black.

5 Why Black Death is Important? Black death is important because was one of the most powerful and devastating pandemics of human history. Also was important because it make us be more hygienic and more careful with are trade routes and with are food.

6 Major Accomplishments The pandemic kill 1/3 of Europe population a sum of 25 million people (aprx) on a period of 4 years (1347,1351). The pandemic make people and cities cleaner since understood that they need to be clean to avoid sickness. Also this plague creates again the aqueducts, and make transportation with better health standards. The Black Death creates advance medicine and make humans started thinking on medicine and health protection.

7 Major Difficulties The Black Death have some difficulties one of them was that the mayor will closed the city so no one gets out or in. Also some people were very hygienic they eat well, wash their food and where not so unlucky. Some cities will stopped the comers so they will have a better chance to survive. The Cold mountains because kill the rats and fleas.

8 Social Importance Killed 25 million people, on three years. Created another type of society people more hygienic and careful with sickness, and pandemics. Advance Medicine and health protection. Also make people started developing new technologies to have a better health.

9 Timeline Also Constantinople 1347 Didn’t effect this place by the mountains

10 Came from Asia. 1347 Expand by the trade routes. Form 1347-52 Kill 25 Million people. In 4 years How the Black Death expand?

11 Timeline Black Death came from Asia to Constantinople 1347, Then of Constantinople it move to Sicily 1347, by rats on boats. If you look carefully at the map you would see that Black Death didn’t effect the area close to Moscow by the cold climate and also because trade was move by backpacks move by muleteers

12 Graph 1348 was the year that the Black Death affect the most cities.

13 Conclusion This pandemic kill millions of people and destroy Europe, but it lets us many useful thinking's about our medicine, our health and our daily life. The pandemic open our eyes to new technology and new ideas.
