4 All about pigs. Pigs live on farms in pig sty's. Pigs like to eat cereal and they roll around in the mud to keep cool. Mummy pigs are called Sows, Daddy pigs are called Boars and their babies are called Piglets. Pigs are where we get pork from. Back to contents page.

5 All about sheep. Sheep often live on farms. They have a woolly coat that is used to make clothes. Some sheep’s milk is used to make smelly cheese in France. Mummy sheep are called Ewes, daddy sheep are called Rams and baby sheep are called lambs. We can buy lamb meat to eat. Back to contents page

6 All about chickens. Chickens are birds that are often found on farms. They give us eggs to eat. This is a picture of a male chicken. They are called cockerels and like to wake everyone up on the farm very early with their song. Click on the speaker to hear him Back to contents page
