3 LE Task Group activity this week –Comment resolution Data-base 802.16-09/0062r2 up-loaded in WG folder –13 comments, all resolved, classified as follows: 7 Agree 4 Disagree 2 Principle –Text changes were made to 802.16h/D12 Recirculation is needed –802.16h PAR extension needs to be re-approved by the WG The Reason field was up-dated in this meeting

4 Outstanding negative comments See also C802.16-09/0025 Confirmations of satisfied comments by e-mail: –Ron Murias has indicated his 4 remaining negative comments (E9, D4, D10, and C52) from a total of 42 negative comments; it was determined that the comments C52 and D4 were not submitted by Ron. –Andrew Miles has indicated satisfaction with his only negative comment (in Recirc. 3, marked with *) No e-mail contact was possible with Aik Chindapol – e-mail at NSN bounced

5 802.16h PAR Extension The 802.16h PAR extension was approved last session The PAR extension request was added to the December NesCom agenda Still needs the approval of the IEEE 802 EC in this session –The PAR extension form has been updated (IEEE 802.16h-09/0021r5 Changes made to the ‘Why is an extension required ?’ field and to the Estimation of the SB closing date

6 P802.16h PAR Extension PAR Expiration date: 2009-12-31 Details –Extension: 1 year –Why is the extension required: The P802.16h Sponsor Ballot is well underway and it is projected that the Standards Board approval will be requested as early as January 2009. An extension is requested to guarantee the project completion. –When do you estimate that the final IEEE Sponsor ballot will be completed?: 15-Jannuary 2010

9 Motion 2 To request the WG to authorize the WG Chair to forward the IEEE 802.16h PAR extension request in IEEE 802.16h-09/0021r5 to the IEEE 802 EC. LE TG Vote: 5:0:0

10 Motion 3 To ask the WG to authorize the 802.16 WG Chair to request Conditional Approval from the IEEE 802 Executive Committee to forward the IEEE P802.16h Draft to RevCom LE TG Vote: 6:0:0
