2. Facebook messenger is an instant messaging app for apple, android, and windows phone devices. There has been overwhelmingly low public opinion of the app because now people have to download a separate app to message people on their friends list, a feature that users could do on one app in the original Facebook app. Facebook messenger is currently number 1 on apple’s app store.

5. Although Facebook messenger is the most popular app on the app store, most people absolutely hate the app because you either download the app or you cant message at all on your phone. Reviews on the app store or the android Google play store both have users posting extremely negative comments on the app. Users are confused at why Facebook would take away the messaging function out of the old Facebook app.
