104 Appendix - Database migration from Access to SQL Server
1. Overview By default the internal database of Panasonic UC Pro Server is Access based (.mdb) which is sufficient for the most business needs. Depending on the customer requirements it could be necessary to store the entries not in the internal database of Panasonic UC Pro Server but rather to use maybe existing SQL Server inside the customer company where the data of Panasonic UC Pro Client(like journal etc.) should be stored. However in lager installations we recommend to use Microsoft® SQL Server. Also depending on the customer installation and call traffic.( above 25 to 30 Panasonic UC Pro Clients)

105 Appendix - Database migration from Access to SQL Server
2. Backup current internal database (mdb files) 2-1. By default all data is stored in the installation path of Panasonic UC Pro Server: …\Program Files(x86)\Panasonic\UC Pro Server\database As you see all are Microsoft® Access databases (.mdb) files.
