2.  Service Learning is reaching out to the community and helping for a worthy cause.  A school program that integrates citizenship values into education by involving students in community service.

3.  After working with the children at their baseball tryouts for the Lowndes County recreation department and Blazer Blast, I realized that children look up to us as athletes.  The children will hopefully follow the example we are trying to set, by working hard and trying to achieve their dreams.

4.  The benefits of service learning, is the way others help you when you are supposed to be helping them.  The children I was helping made me want to be a better influence and keep my life on the correct path.
