Where you can locate a policy if you wanted to check something- quickly? This presentation help to answer these questions!

3. Firstly, make sure your computer is on and you have entered your password to access the IRT IT system.

4. Go to internet explorer icon and left click on this with the mouse 1. Accessing the IRT Intranet

5. The IRT Intranet should be your home page (that is, the screen below should appear). If not, contact IT.

6. Click on Forms, listed under “About IRT” The forms page provides you with instructions on how to search for a form. The Index register is under Folder 059. This can also be used to locate a form if you don’t know its name or number. 2. Forms

7. Left click with your mouse on the form you want and it will open. View, save ( go to File, save as) or print the form. Remember forms on the IRT intranet are the only approved forms for use, so do not alter the format of the form. 3. Forms continued/…

8. 4. Manuals Click on Manuals-listed under Forms The screen below will appear with a list of manuals-select the one you want to view and left click on the title. 1 2

9. Some Manuals have several sections-you just need to select the section you wish to view by clicking on it with your mouse.

10. 5. Policies and Practices You can see the complete timetable of when policies are scheduled for review here. This also gives you the index listings for the individual portfolio policies. Policies and Practices are available under their related section. Click on the relevant standard to expand the list. This will tell you what is new with policy reviews, allows you to access this presentation. Left click on Policy and Practices, under Manuals on the left hand side of the screen.

11. 6. Policy and Practices cont’d/… Click on the relevant Policy to view, save or print. The documents are in PDF format.

12. You can use the camera icon to select a section of the document to copy, eg for memo, staff meeting, email etc. You can view, print or save the document from here!

13. Go back to the Start (the Home page of the IRT Intranet) by closing any documents you have opened (click on the red X on the top right of the screen open). Then click on Home icon.
