2 Strategic structure

6 TAITH Taith Board Operational Working Groups External Affairs Policy and Strategy Public Transport Finance and Monitoring Well being and Safety Network Management and Infrastructure Steering Group Strategic Directors

7 TAITH  TAITH Constitution transfers development, adoption, and implementation of transport strategies for North Wales to the TAITH Board.  Two Councillors from each Authority  Responsible for the TAITH Business Plan - £4M capital and revenue programme 2006/07  Has delegated authority to make decisions and enter contracts  Appoint management group of officers to report to and support the Board, to liaise between Authorities and to implement the Business Plan

8 TAITH  TAITH Board appoints a management Authority (currently Flintshire)  Each Authority has shared responsibilities.

9 REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION Areas for development –  Clarification of roles to manage Regional Transportation priorities  Processes need to be clear and understood  Lines of communication, reporting, responsibilities need to be resolved  Targets and standards need to be agreed.  Local tensions need to be managed.  Opportunity to demonstrate Good Practice model and produce positive results and investment.  Wrexham preparing report for TAITH Board / LA Executive Boards to address areas for development in the management regime.  Medium Term Service Plan (Local Transportation Plan) in preparation.
