Report 1311 – all districts Headcount as of a specific month. Be sure to select a month from the Drop Down Box Report 1020 - district specific Headcount by grade level as of a specific month. Be sure to select a month from the Drop Down Box Report 1251 - district full-time equivalent enrollment. Leaving the As-Of Month box as None Selected will use the current month as the ending month Report 1251SR - district full- time equivalent. This report breaks out the different resident districts your district is serving Report 1251H - district Headcount Report 1251HSR - district Headcount separated by each resident district you are serving Report 1735T - district Special Education Headcount Report 1735 – district Special Education Headcount split out by each resident district you are serving Report 1251RN – district reported Remote and Necessary numbers This second section allows you to see who is reporting your students. You have to make sure that you have added the district to your residents in order to be able to pick them as the serving district

When running edits:  Click on the Run Edit button from your main page – it takes you to the Run Edits Screen.  Click on Run Edit.  Click on Refresh – you may have to click on Refresh several times until you see the Complete status.  Click on the View button at the far right- hand side to see if you have any edits. 106

When running special education edits from the Master Run Edits screen, you will need to change the Headcount variance from 5 to 3 so that it matches the default variance on the Run Edit Screen (where you submit your file). The basic education variances match in both places. 107

Run your reports and review them before submitting to your ESD. This is another way to catch errors:  For basic education, run Report 1251 for FTE, 1251H for headcount, 1251SR (FTE) and 1251HSR (headcount) if you have resident districts.  For special education, run the 1735T or the 1735 if you have resident districts.  Currently the system doesn’t edit FTE, it only edits headcount so there is potential for big errors to be missed. 108

K–2 is Half-Day Kindergarten and K–3 is Full- Day State-Funded Kindergarten (there is no K–1 for enrollment purposes). If you are a WESPaC Student district, use the recommendations that WSIPC has provided for your kindergartener coding, just remember that K-3 in EDS means something different than K-3 in WESPaC. 109

The EDS system compares the source month to the last previously Accepted by OSPI record. We accept revisions throughout the month so that edits can be run on the latest information. If you need us to accept a file so you can have the most current edits, please call or email us. 110

Use the Go Back button within EDS rather than the back arrow in the browser. Yes No 111

Thank you for coming today. Questions, Comments and Concerns can be emailed to Mitch.Thompson@k12.wa.us.
