5 Chiddingfold Development Policies What to develop Our Chiddingfold Local Housing demand survey shows people currently in the village need over the next few years - 25 more Affordable rented homes with 1 or 2 bedrooms - 20+ Starter Homes - 25 + Low density 2 & 3 bedroom homes for down sizers or retirees - some sheltered accommodation for the elderly - more homes, (either bungalows or flats) with accommodation on one floor - We need policies to encourage development of the above, but restrict -Development of more 4 or 5 bedroom homes (55% of Chiddingfold homes are already in this category)

6 Chiddingfold Development Policies Where and for whom Should we Mix and match or separate the different types - Affordable homes and Market homes - Retirement homes and Market homes - Put homes for the elderly, near the shops or near the Surgery - Put affordable or starter homes near the school
