Welcome to Naviance!  Naviance is a web-based resource for staff, students, and parents that encourages and supports post high school career and college planning.  As teachers you will have access to basic student information, assessment results, student brag sheets, and college and career plans.

3. Student Recommendations  Students will continue to request letters of recommendation in person  Once you have agreed, students will send you an electronic request on Naviance and email alert  Upload your letter of recommendation and complete the Common Application Teacher Evaluation Form  Once you mark your recommendation as “Complete”, School Counseling can send it electronically with student applications

4. Accessing Naviance  You can access the login page directly with the following link:  https://succeed.naviance.com/signin.php  Account = jamesben  User Name = FirstInitial LastName  (Example: John Smith = JSmith)  Password: Emailed to you with a request to change

5. Sign in here with your username and password. Your temporary password has been emailed to you. You will be instructed to change this after your first time logging in.

6. Teacher’s Desk will guide you to find students and manage letters of recommendation

7. Return to your homepage to access requests and input letters of recommendation

8. Here you can view and sort requests for letters of recommendation Click here to prepare forms Update status to “Complete” once recommendation is finished. This notifies School Counselors that it is ready to be attached to applications
